The Jaguars have pretty much blown up their entire roster over the past several months. It started with the in-season trade of Jalen Ramsey to the Los Angeles Rams and continued with Jacksonville dealing Nick Foles to the Chicago Bears last month.
There’s now another star Jaguars player currently on the block. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jacksonville has had trade discussions with other teams about running back Leonard Fournette.
Jaguars have had trade discussions with other teams regarding RB Leonard Fournette, league sources tell ESPN. Fournette is due $4.16 million in base salary in 2020. It’s a situation that bears watching as this week’s draft approaches.
Fournette, 25, had his issues with former front-office head Tom Coughlin. But once Coughlin left the organization earlier this year, things seemed to end on that front.
The No. 4 overall pick of the Jaguars back in 2017, Fournette is coming off a career-best performance that saw him tally 1,674 total yards last season.
