Malta-based gaming platform software developer Bit8 has become the latest company to secure a licence in Romania.
According to its class two licence, Bit8 will have the chance to enable its multi-channel platform to land-based and online operators in the country.
The firm has already a strong presence in the country through an existing partnership with Super Bet, Romania’s largest retail and online bookmaker.
“Romania is an exciting market, and we are thrilled to have received our licence from the regulator,” Angelo Dalli, chief executive of Bit8, said.
“It’s testament to the quality of our platform that it passed so quickly; it has always been scalable and designed to be multi-jurisdictional.
“We are particularly proud of its multi-channel functionality, helping cross-sell retail players into online as shown through our partnership with Super Bet.
“This, combined with our licence, gives us a springboard to work with other operators in the country.”
About Bit8:
Bit8’s platform was born of the excitement and vision of three founders who envisaged a platform based on AI principles that saved costs through automation and maximized user lifetime value.
The company won the Software Rising Star award in 2014 at the EGR Awards which validated and boosted Bit8’s efforts. After receiving many nominations and awards, the dream of becoming leaders in the global online gaming industry has become a reality.
The firm’s expertise and unique background empower its team to provide the clients with a serious competitive advantage in what has become a quite aggressive online environment. Over time Bit8 strived to create administrative processes that offer its customers a feeling of collaboration. To make sure that its negotiation process and pricing are totally transparent, the company takes input form its clients and use it to constantly improve its platform. Bit8’s intention is to make the process of working with the company as easy as possible without any fear of lock-in or conflicts of interests.
